I followed the recipe pretty closely but used some reviewers suggestions. I drained the sourkraut simply didn't rinse information technology, because we similar the tangy gustation of the sourkraut. I buttered rye breadstuff slices on i side and spread Thousand Island dressing on the other side. On the dressing side I placed a piece of swiss cheese, sliced Pastrami from the cafeteria and so topped with sourkraut. I cooked them on my George Foreman grill until the cheese was melted and the bread was nice and toasted. They were delicious! I only gave the four star rating because the sourkraut in the heart wasn't very warm. Next fourth dimension I make these I will warm the sourkraut in the microwave first and maybe add some other slice of swiss likewise! If you like Rueben sandwiches you lot will dear this one!

I work as a grill cook at Cracker Barrel, and while the Reuben is one of the nearly annoying things to make at a busy fourth dimension, It doesn't take nigh 45 minutes to make. Maybe 5 at most from start to finish. If this recipe works for y'all, then good. However, nosotros do it quite differently. We first off past putting approximately one/4 loving cup sauerkraut (we never measure out it, we simply grab some) on the grill, and a handbag of about the same amount of chip corn beefiness on top of that. And so we put 2 pieces of bread down with some butter, and put two pieces of swiss cheese on each piece of staff of life. Once the sauerkraut and beef has heated up for a minute or two, we put it on one piece of breadstuff, and put the 1000 isle dressing on the other piece. As I said earlier, information technology shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to make.
03/03/2005
These were great. I used George Foreman grill, which was easy and quick. I don't like soggy breadstuff, so I put the dressing and sauerkraut between the meat and cheese. I also only used ane piece of cheese per sandwich.
04/nineteen/2007
A good mustard is the way to make a Reuben. Down in south Alabama we did not start hearing about this thousand isle concern until near 10 years ago.
04/eleven/2007
Married man and I dearest this sandwich. I similar to use the sweeter "bavarian way" sauerkraut with the caraway seeds. Somtimes I change information technology up and utilize mustard instead of thousand island dressing.
03/25/2011
Great sandwich! The classics never dice! This was so practiced and so easy to make. If y'all use good quality ingredients you'll finish up with a wonderful sandwich. I used "Thousand Island Dressing II" from this site. Perfect for a quick luncheon - YUM!
03/17/2005
Well liked by all. I also spread the 1000 island dressing betwixt meat and cheese to keep breadstuff from getting soggy, and agree with some other review, you take to use butter, non margerine. Use deli corned beef and y'all take the genuine bargain here. Nifty recipe!
03/04/2006
My husband's favorite sandwich is a reuben, and he usually goes to a local cafeteria for one. I wanted to exist able to make them at home for him, tin I came upon this recipe--it was very well received!! I've made information technology several times since I found it in early 2005, and the merely change I make is to use a picayune more than one thousand isle dressing than the recipe calls for since that is my hubby's favorite part
03/16/2007
Delicious!!!! This is hands down my favorite sandwich. And this recipe is great and easy to follow. I made it for dinner and it was a huge hit. I added additional cheese and boosted corned beef...considering I have some large boys in my family. :)
07/06/2011
I used to make Reuben's in a restaurant, and I got smashing raves for mine. To ameliorate on this sandwich, I would add more than corned beefiness, and also add an equal corporeality of Pastrami. The total meat weight of 12 oz. In the New York Cafeteria, they put 1 lb. of meat on each sandwich. Likewise mix the sauerkraut and dressing, and put it in the middle of the sandwich, so the staff of life doesn't become soggy. Also, wring out the sauerkraut, and so it'due south non wet.
09/thirteen/2002
Fantastic! I used pumpernickel bread & subbed mozzarella for the swiss (I don't normally have swiss in the business firm, because nobody really cares for it on a regular ground) & put some horseradish sauce on it....YUM! Thanks for sharing Colette, we eat these ofttimes!
07/07/2011
If you actually want a good grilled sandwich you lot need to dark-brown the inside of the staff of life first. And so assemble and melt the outside.
04/15/2010
Perfect, classic Reuben. In my book information technology's worth making a corned beef brisket (I like "Tedious Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches," also from this site) merely to make this sandwich! As others have noted, bleed and RINSE the sauerkraut and estrus it briefly so that it's proficient and hot by the fourth dimension the sandwich is done. I used a marbled rye, which made this sandwich especially pretty. Whether yous use deli corned beef or cook your own corned beefiness brisket, make sure the meat is tender! In that location's null worse with a Reuben sandwich than to take a bite and pull out a big hunk of tough meat, leaving the rest of the sandwich behind! (I've had a Reuben like that in a eatery or two...)
06/27/2011
A great base of operations recipe to learn how to make a Reuben only yous gotta cook your ain meat! Information technology'south also easy to skip. Instead of cafeteria meat, I used "Tedious Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches" from this site. If butter is banned at your house like it is in mine, using cooking spray works just also to brand the bread crispy. I besides used Publix 2% swiss cheese and Publix fat-free dressing. Made a proficient and practically guilt-gratis sandwich.
03/17/2014
Ingredients are fine only assembly and cooking need help. hither's the undercover: 1. Oestrus the corned beefiness and sauerkraut separately in the microwave until simply warm 2. Put cheese on ane piece of staff of life, Corned beefiness on the other 3. Put sauerkraut in middle with G Island on it (keeps bread from getting soggy) 4. Simplify your life- don't butter the bread. Put a pat butter in the pan and melt just earlier you lot put sandwich in. When side toasts selection up with spatula, add together another pat of butter turn over. **For best results rut should be on the low side of medium-low. Employ a frying pan with a lid. This holds in the heat and ensures the inside is warm and outside isn't burned.
03/09/2008
Not bad bones recipe for a traditional reuben sandwich. I make some minor substitutions, following my mom'southward recipe: Instead of corned beef, I use pastrami. After draining the sauerkraut, I put it in a medium bowl and mix in the thousand isle using a fork. Other than that, I get together the sandwiches co-ordinate to this recipe, and my husband and I honey them!
03/19/2012
Yummy! My husband *loves* Reubens and these got a large seal of approval from him. I followed the directions exactly and nosotros were pleased with the results. Served with Claussen dill pickle spears, which were a perfect compliment to the sandwiches. Thanks :)
03/18/2008
This is really an first-class recipe, and the perfect way to employ leftover corned beefiness. I had lots of corned beef left from St. Pat's mean solar day celebrations, so I made this more than once; it works beautifully even with slight changes. I had to use a different staff of life the 2nd time, and used some leftover jarlsburg cheese (mild swiss) - still delicious! I agree with the other reviewers that you should warm the corned beef and sauerkraut prior to assembly and cooking of the sandwiches, but this is easy to practise. I simply turned the oven on to 350 degrees and popped the beef and sauerkraut in it before I started getting the sandwich stuff prepare, and by the time the grill was heating up and I wanted to put the sandwiches together they were nice and warm. At any charge per unit it worked great, although I used a stove superlative grill and only grilled the sandwiches for vii minutes per side. Longer than that and they started to burn, and then I would suggest watching the sandwiches because all grills aren't equal in heating. The second batch I also tented tinfoil over them every bit they cooked on the grill; this helped to keep everything toasty. Yum!!!
04/xx/2002
Simply 'built" a couple of these and they are bully! The kids don't similar the sauerkraut, or corned beef, so this is a "grownup" sandwich in my firm! They only took five minutes per side, but I weighed the sandwich down with a heavy pan on top. VERY delicious!
07/24/2011
Great recipe! I read other reviews for suggestions, and it came out perfect. Similar other people, I put the one thousand island and the sauerkraut in the center of the sandwich so the bread didn't get soggy. I plant that it was easier to put in the center if I put the (already drained) sauerkraut in a basin, microwaved it about thirty seconds to oestrus it upwardly, then mixed in the thousand island dressing. I kept the grill on medium-low heat and was able to oestrus information technology up for the recommended corporeality of time without called-for the staff of life. Thanks for the recipe!
01/08/2010
This is the delicious recipe we use at home. We bleed the sauerkraut and place information technology in a small-scale saucepan on depression which warms information technology as well every bit evaporates whatsoever juice left later draining it. Another taste treat for this Reuben is to try honey mustard in place of the one thousand island or regular mustard. This is a great sandwich as a stand solitary dinner or lunch...Thanks much
09/23/2007
we dearest these! instead of grilling in the pan, we use the george foreman grill and they plow out wonderful!
12/xiii/2009
Amazing. Definitely the all-time Reuben I've ever had. I won't exist ordering some other one in a restaurant because I know I'll be disappointed. I used the "Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches" also on Allrecipes.com which I'm sure helped make this sandwich amazing. The deli down the street claims to make the all-time reubens in town... well, I call back I've taken that claim to fame abroad from them now! I've eaten them 6 days in a row now!! Love pregnancy :)
11/01/2010
This was awesome. This recipe calls for sauerkraut to be drained. Some people must have missed that. I used pastrami, turned out awesome. Used a bandage atomic number 26 skillet and the sandwiches turned out beautifully and oh so yummy!!!! The layering here is good, and was the reason I looked a recipe upwards anyhow. Also, if you're cooking stovetop, put the lid on the pan for a bit and that will help with heating the cheese/sauerkraut. Ours were the perfect temperature throughout.
01/28/2015
Lots of tweaks are required for this receipe. First y'all absolutely need to drain the sourkraut. Squeeze the sourkraut out over the sink before placing it on the sandwich. If you don't do this, the sandwich will be soggy. Equally well you lot do non have to use the breadstuff. Use whatever whole wheat bread and spread both sides with hands spreadable margarine. I've perfected this receipe over many tries. Feel free to utilise whatsoever Swiss cheese, Grieire is particularly practiced. I put two slices on one side and i on the other. In addition to grand island dressing, spread the within of i side of bread with Dijon mustard. It's delicious! The guild I utilise is margarine on staff of life face downwardly, thousand island dressing, two slices of Swiss cheese, drained sourkraut, a lot of corned beef, another slice of Swiss cheese, m island dressing, bread with Dijon mustard on the within and margarine spread on the outside. Grill every bit you would for a grilled cheese sandwich on depression-medium heat. The second side will cook faster than the first. Enjoy with a pickle.
02/21/2014
The Rueben is 1 of my favorite things to order at Ma & Pop mode restaurants, but I've never made 1 at dwelling house until today. With all the other Rueben recipes out in that location, I'thou glad I picked this one to attempt first. Information technology'south just how I like them. Thank you!
10/16/2011
I used my griddle. On 1 end I toasted the bread on the other finish I warmed up the corned beefiness and the sauerkraut (drained). I fabricated chiliad isle dressing from scratch (no egg recipe). piled all the ingredients on the bread and finished toasting. NO SOGGY BREAD!! Easy and favorite sandwich in our abode.
08/09/2005
My husband just raved about these sandwiches. Just delicious! Also, heat the sauerkraut.
03/17/2014
Elementary, good recipe.
x/11/2004
This is THE Reuben! Taste just as good as the diner's. I only fabricated one and really didn't follow the directions and it tasted slap-up! Pressing the sandwich a chip really helps keeps everything from shifting all over the place when y'all turn it. but it would be great if this was made on a panini gril also! Make certain you have the heat on low enough so it takes enough time to melt the cheese and warm the corned beef and saurkraut. Too, I'one thousand a butter girl, merely think you would HAVE to make this with butternot margarine.
05/15/2007
This is the best way to brand Reubens nosotros've tried. Pefect!
08/22/2008
Rather than make individual sandwiches, I used a loaf of French bread. I toasted information technology rather than grilling it.
07/23/2011
This is an splendid sandwich. Exist sure to use sauerkraut in a cooled bag (normally from the cafeteria or effectually the hot dog area in a shop). This is far better than the canned.
12/06/2013
Oh, seriously delicious! I used Boar'southward Head corned beefiness (you MUST employ first-class quality corned beef for a great Reuben!) and had them slice it very thin. Be sure to cover your pan while you chocolate-brown these and go on them on a medium/depression rut. This will ensure that the sandwich is warm in the middle with nicely melted cheese and perfectly browned bread. (15 minutes per side is waaayyy too long, then disregard that in the recipe directions.) I am not a fan of Russian dressing, only love TI, and so that is what I utilise and enjoy on this sandwich. Oh, and rinsing the sauerkraut is a must unless you admire it and dear a very stiff taste of it in your sandwich.
02/fifteen/2007
Succulent sandwich. It works best with very thinly sliced lean corned beef. I likewise added pickles. Yum
03/17/2014
This is your typical Reuben sandwich, merely Oh so good, but grilling for 15 minutes, not so much...more similar 2-3 min. on each side...
02/12/2007
My youngest daughter loves these. If y'all don't like rye breadstuff, sliced sourdough works well.
05/25/2011
Always a winner. I similar to pile the corned beefiness high. This time I used Thousand Island Salad Dressing minus the paprika from this site; very proficient.
11/22/2004
These sandwiches were great! Had to make something quick for just me and the hubby and this definitely hit the spot! Served with cream of broccoli soup and a plate of assorted olives, roasted peppers and pickles! Delicious! :)
03/26/2008
I used the recipe "deadening cooked corned beef for sandwiches" from this site for this. I did butter the bread and brown it in a skillet, but then I just layered the sandwich and heated it in the microwave. The bottom slice of bread became a little soggy but it was nevertheless delicious. The adjacent day I put the staff of life in the toaster- I got a overnice crispy sandwich. My husband chosen this recipe "dynamite!", and he tells his family all about this feast!
03/28/2013
Excellent! Hubby had mustard, I had TI dressing. Followed reviewer suggestions for warming the corned beef and sauerkraut. Next time I recall I'll buy a few more slices of corned beef but nosotros really enjoyed these equally written. My mom used to make the best Reubens. These made me remember her so thank you for posting.
08/28/2004
Ruebens are my all-time favorites and this recipe is admittedly bang-on. My days of going to the restaurant to order them are over - I can brand 'em myself now. Thanks Colette!
03/06/2010
My husband asked for these 3 days in a row! He said they were the best he'd ever had... I don't similar Reubens at all but he'd give it ten stars if he could!
04/01/2016
03-24-2011 Stock-still this for our St. Patrick's Mean solar day meal. The sandwich is delicious. A reuben is my sandwich of choice in a restaurant, but I've never made one at home. This is a great recipe to use. It came together quickly and I cooked them on the griddle along with Swiss Cheese Potato Pancakes from this site. Everything got done at the same time and we had a wonderful repast. I volition for sure be making this again. Cheers Colette for posting this recipe. 03-19-16 ~ The all-time part of the St. Patrick's repast is the leftover corned beef - just to make a Reuben! This is a bully and filling sandwich. I used two-toned staff of life and 'Not Thousand Island Dressing' from AR in place of bottled dressing. The sandwiches were amazing. I might be a trivial biased, every bit a Reuben is my favorite sandwich.
01/16/2017
Did not brand any changes. Hubby and I liked it just every bit is. I wish most people would rate the recipes as is, instead of changing everything, and then rating it. That would be more helpful.
06/08/2013
All-time Reuben Sandwich ever...only similar the cafeteria when I was growing up.
08/12/2008
Fantastic sandwich! To cut down on the fat, I used turkey pastrami, lowfat Swiss, and fat-gratuitous Thousand Island (Kraft brand is wonderful!). I served these with "Restaurant-Way Coleslaw I" from this site. As some other reviewer suggested, exist certain to heat the meat and sauerkraut before grilling. Thanks for the recipe!
08/27/2011
Very adept, used pastrami instead of corned beef and used AR's Chiliad Island Dressing III. Decadent, simply delicious, exactly the style a reuben should be.
05/25/2011
this is the aforementioned every bit my moms recipe and i take been making them for 20 years, if you put a lid on the pan while toasting the sandwiches, the whole sandwich will be hot and the cheese will exist melted. so wonderful and like shooting fish in a barrel!
04/06/2011
This sandwich is better than the ane at my local cafeteria. I used marbled rye/pumpernikel (sp)? bread from Pepperidge Farm then followed the recipe. Don't modify a thing, it is delicious!
12/10/2002
This was pretty expert, but my kids hated the Thou Island dressing! I will only leave that off adjacent time. When I toasted them in a big heavy skillet, I also weighed them down with another pan and a big heavy tin within the pan. They came out nicely browned and all the "goodies" stayed inside the bread.
03/12/2014
I brand my Reuben this style as well. Practice warm the sauerkraut before assembling and bleed it well, then clasp it to remove any remaining moisture. Adding a thin layer of horseradish to the meat side of the bread is a tasty improver. If you apply but one layer of cheese, it is helpful to grill the meat-only side first, then the cheese side. This allows the sandwich to oestrus up and so the cheese melts properly. Mustard is besides a good improver if you rinse the sauerkraut. Otherwise, information technology tin can be a bit overpowering. Every bit others have mentioned, five minutes per side is probably sufficient. You do not want the staff of life to hurt the roof of your oral fissure! On the rare occasions my husband and I order a Reuben at a eatery, we are unremarkably disappointed and make this version within a couple of weeks.
04/x/2012
peachy recipe....yet....apply home cooked corned beef. Non whatsoever extra problem. Set corned beef and cabbage on Sunday, Reuben sandwiches on Tuesday. Otherwise, utilize the recipe...AS IS. Y'all'll be happy.
05/23/2011
I actually don't care for anything on this sandwich just I love them all together! I prefer to used Carl Budding corned beef and I use Miracle Whip instead of Thousand Island. I alway plan to consume these while my husband is away, this is 1 thing he doesn't care for that I absolutely love!
05/18/2012
Nosotros prepared this tonight. What a treat. We used American Cheese instead of Swiss. It was admittedly the best Reuben I've always eaten. Try it, yous'll love it.
01/12/2012
Admittedly delicious and EASY! I am obsessed with Reuben Sandwiches, and this is better than anything I've e'er paid for in a eating place. Ane thing I'll practise next time is melt butter and brush onto the staff of life...it's just hard to flip on the griddle when the butter is still in common cold lumps :) That is ALL I am irresolute though! Kudos to Colette, this is wonderful!
05/05/2012
this came out sooooo good. i used cafeteria roast beef and fried information technology for a scrap in olive oil. it tasted just like corned beef! i used french dressing considering we ran out of thousand island, and i used a laughing cow Swiss cheese spreadable triangle. It came out and then Delicious!
03/06/2014
We are not rye breadstuff eaters so I used sour dough and they were fantabulous. I may effort some mustard next time.
04/xiii/2006
classic sandwich...Great taste. 15 minutes is a little long, 5 minutes per side is more similar it. Endeavour it you'll like it. Don't forget the dill pickle.
12/07/2008
My favorite sandwich! I propose making your own thousand isle dressing and rye bread for a more than homemade flavor. My husband and I love them.
01/19/2009
Very adept. I used turkey because I don't eat beef. I heated the sandwiches with the George Foreman grill.
08/15/2016
If you lot follow the recipe like it says it will plough out perfect, the reviews are merely repeating the aforementioned thing, near of them say to drain the sauerkraut which is specified in the ingredients list. The melt time says fifteen min per side on medium heat so that the insides are warm all the way through and the bread isn't burnt. Othere reviewers weren't being honest with the Stars because they wanted to take a short cutting method or not fully read the ingredients list or instructions. If you want a v star repast follow everything it says and pay close attending.
03/17/2013
Love this - exactly how nosotros make it at home, except I heaped on more shaved corned beef. It's also great dipped in yellow mustard!
12/21/2006
Excellent! Information technology came out just like the moving-picture show. I had never had corned beef or sauerkraut before and am not fond of thousand island, just the flavors blended together were cracking. I've made it 2 nights this week. then simple!
04/11/2007
This was quick, piece of cake, and and then adept. I used corned beef instead. My hubby loved it and suggested to have the corned beef shaved at the deli. I will make this for at present on and will be a family unit hit! Thanks!
12/10/2011
I use chiliad island instead.
11/17/2002
Even though I don't much care for Reuben Sandwiches, my hubby but loves them. He says that these tasted but like the ones he ate in NYC, which is praise of the highest order!! I volition brand these for him every twelvemonth on his birthday from now on...thanks then much Colette!
03/nineteen/2013
Wonderful sandwich! This is how we make ours ingredient wise. Yet, instead of deli corned beefiness, we always use any left over corned beef from St. Patrick's day to make our reubens. We warm everything upwards before creating this masterpiece of a sandwich!
04/06/2008
I made these for my dad'south bday luncheon- reubens are his fav- and everyone LOVED them. I used reduced fat mayo in the dressing, reduced fat swiss, and Brummel & Brown spread (simply happens to be the spread I always buy) and they chowed those things! I am a vegetarian, so I tin can't tell you lot personally, but I did make myself one sans corned beefiness and information technology was delish.
02/12/2007
Very good. We didn't change a thing and information technology was perfect.
04/23/2007
I made this recipe for dinner this evening. All I can say is YUM! These sandwiches were a real striking with my family!
02/17/2012
Classic! Make certain to cook these slow then the meat heats and the cheese melts. Nothing worse than crispy breadstuff with common cold fillings. I brand my own Thousand Island using "G Island Dressing II" from this site because I hate buying a whole bottle simply for Reuben night.
08/20/2008
proficient sandwich
08/21/2014
Great recipe! The simply alter I would brand is to spread mayo on each side of the bread, then toast i side of each piece. The toasted side will become the inside of your sandwich when yous grill it. 2 great things happen when you do this: first, the bread is nice and well-baked on both sides and soft in the center; 2nd,the toast has a little bit of a sweet taste to counter the tartness of the sauerkraut. Try information technology once and estimate for yourself.
03/22/2013
Love Reubens! xv minutes per side is definitely too long for this, only the ingredients and method are spot on. I did a quick pickled cabbage instead of sauerkraut and some leftover corned beefiness with rye/pumpernickel bread. So yummy! Thank you for the recipe!
03/25/2011
Made these concluding night - easy, tasty & quick. I put the thousand island on the side for dipping and heated the sauerkraut earlier adding to the sandwich. MUST use rye bread@
04/19/2007
this is an excellent sandwich! i prefer marbled rye breadstuff for eye appeal & russian dressing (when i can find it). yous can too cook a corned beef brisket for dinner & slice the leftover meat for this recipe instead of spending extra $$ at the deli. thanks colette!
12/02/2011
A classic and very good.....I am basing my review on having my share and knowing that this sandwich is amazing. On some other annotation....I am non sure what the trouble was with the corned beef I had purchased at the cafeteria the other solar day....looked and smelled great....was very excited to eat the final product and hubby and I were simply disappointed that the meat was extremely rubbery and hard to seize with teeth into permit lone chew.....all in all.....definately non the recipes error or an error of mine....just a nasty cut of corned beef....lol.....thanks for a corking recipe though!
12/28/2010
This is actually one of my husband's favorite things I brand! For a filling, hearty, and delicious meal you tin can't become wrong with these reubens!
05/03/2008
Made this sandwich with shaved turkey instead of corned beef since that's what I had on hand. I establish information technology didn't take equally long to make equally the recipe says. Married man and I absolutely loved it! This a going to be a new regular in my house.
03/27/2012
Slap-up sandwich, Used my ain homemade Yard Island Dressing and homemade Rye bread. I grilled in the panini press. Don't know why I waited sooooo long to try one of these sandwiches!!!
08/05/2016
Delicious, as good every bit it gets!
07/26/2008
practiced and easy
02/04/2013
pretty good just something missing - possibly it's the simply the 1000 island dressing i used - i just felt like the whole sandwich lacked flavor - perchance there needs to be some additional seasoning added or brand your own 1000 isle
04/21/2007
I followed the recipe give-and-take for discussion and I would NEVER change a thing! My husband and I both give it five stars. This was absolutely Delicious!! I served the sandwiches with chili cheese fries. :-)
08/14/2008
my husband loves this recipe, he usually eats them all mean solar day and there is none left for the next solar day :)
06/24/2006
This is very yummie. I used provolone cheese and pastrami. I put it in my George Foreman grill and it went existent fast. My married man said as a side dish with this reuben I should have fabricated a cucumber salad. I will the next time. We really enjoyed it. It was better than whatever reuben at whatever restaurant.
08/03/2012
Splendid recipe, splendid nutrient.
08/xv/2002
My husband loved this! So easy he made it for himself!!
06/19/2008
This is actually skillful in fact, my husband asked me, "where did you lot get this?" thinking I bought information technology from a restraunt!
02/13/2007
Succulent! This is my favorite blazon of sandwich. I wasn't able to find it in restaurants down hither in VA like I was in WI, but I tried this homemade recipe and it's perfect!
07/31/2011
Great recipe. I heated everything separately though because I'thousand away from my sandwich toaster. Left out butter and added a bit more thousand island. Very tasty:o) thank you
07/31/2012
You tin't go wrong with these and you tin can't mess them upwards. We nix the sauerkraut and sometimes use Provolone cheese instead of Swiss. Nosotros also use our panini grill to make them.
01/04/2017
This was Delicious!!!!!!!
07/11/2011
I make the Rachel version of this sandwich using Smoked Turkey Breast, since I love this sandwich, but non a fan of Corned Beef. I also employ Baby Swiss cheese for a milder flavor and light Thou Island dressing...it'southward soooooo good!
04/xix/2007
This sandwich is great, but if y'all don't similar 1000 Island dressing, only add together some prepared mustard. It is bang-up that way too. Marbled (rye/white) breadstuff gives a Reuben a fancy advent.
06/01/2012
I also make these with lesser fat deli ham and monterey jack cheese.
03/26/2012
Great sandwich! I used more than meat and sauerkraut with seeded rye sourdough bread and fried them in the frying pan. They turned out corking, my hubby and I loved it. Side by side fourth dimension i'll try it with a different blazon of sauerkraut and with pumpernickle breadstuff.
12/07/2014
Great recipe! I did apply a little more than Thousand Island dressing than called for, and I cooked it on medium depression for about six minutes per side. Loved it!
